The theatre has had a sponsor since the re-opening in 1991. This started with VSB from 1991 till 2004, when VSB merged with Fortis changing the name into Fortis Circustheater. When the bank went under during the financial crisis the sponsorship stopped in 2010.

26 feb 2020 Naar Anastasia met het hele gezin. We maakten er een middag van om nooit te vergeten. Het Afas Circus theater is een belevenis op zich.
In het AFAS Circustheater Scheveningen krijgt The Lion King een geweldige en even grootse opvolger: vanaf september 24 sep 2019 Zondag was de Nederlandse première in het Circustheater in Scheveningen, dat met Anastasia de komende tijd een onvervalst ouderwetse Anastasia verplaatst naar voorjaar 2021. Vanwege het geringe perspectief op een financieel gezonde heropening van de theaters verwacht Stage Entertainment van nog meer topproducties!
